Just a card to share....

Heya' all,

Its late Friday night and I finally had some time to make a card, woooohoo!
I am entering this card for Kathy's color throw down over at Lilly pad cards and their first challenge ever! and while I was at it I decided to do some stamp layering/paper piecing for Hero Arts Challenge this for this month.

Kathy's Challenge was to use this color scheme

I can't believe how hard it can be to use these colors together, Ouch! talk about late night brainstorming...........Oh I'm sorry here is my result; Ta-Da!

For this card; I distressed my top layer with Mustard seed, and stamped my image in peeled paint,
and again on a two scrap pieces distressing the leaves with peeled paint and the flower with spiced maralade. Then I cut out each leaves and the flower and set it aside. I adhered my distressed panel to another layer of blue cardstock. For the base I just stamped the whole thing with an old letter writing stamp in Hero hues cerulean chalk ink, adhered all my panels and added my paper pieces with pop  dots for dimension.

Material list: Hero hues cerulean chalk ink, mustard seed distress ink, peeled paint distress ink, spiced marmalade distress ink, Memories dye black ink, Hero hues Cerulean cardstock, Solar neenah white cardstock, blue cardstock, Old letter writing S4878, Special moments CG108.

If you have a moment please scroll down and read my last post or click here,

Thanks for stopping by!
