Welcome Lilly!

Hi Paula,
Greetings from the USA!
I would like to take a moment to congratulate you and your family on the birth of your little girl. Lilly is such a Cutie!

Not being a mother, I wouldn't be very helpful in giving advice 8~) but I have a wonderful recipe that will be great to have on hand when Lilly begins teething. My Mother made these for my little sister when she started and my big brother and I liked them so much we ate them with her.

Teether Bread Stix is from the sugar free toddlers recipe book
you decide how crunchy or soft you want these lightly flavored teething sticks to be!

You will need:
2 eggs
1/2 cup apple juice concentrate, thawed
1/2 cup apple sauce
1/2 cup mashed bananas
1/2 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 unbleached white four
3 teaspoons low sodium baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 350 degrees . Coat loaf pan pan with vegetable cooking spray. In a blender jar, combine eggs, apple juice concentrate, and oil. Mix on medium just to blend. Add apple sauce bananas and carrots; blend well. In a seperate bowl, combine flours baking powder, and baking soda. Pour in the wet mixture and mix until smooth. Pour into pan and bake about 1 hour, until firm to the touch. Cool completly. Remove from pan. Cut into 8 slices, then cut each slice into four 1-inch sticks. Lay the sticks on a baking sheet and bake on 150 degrees for 30 minutes (for soft bread like sticks) or 1 hour (for hard teething biscuits) store in airtight container.

Toddler rating: 9 out of 10 love it.
prep time: 15 minutes + baking time.
makes about 32 sticks

Hope you enjoy and Thanks for Stopping by! Have a great day!
