It's been more than a year since my last post, and I've really let this blog go, several times I thought about deleting it, but kept it just in case I started back up, I've tried a couple times in the past but it never really worked out.... So finally I came to realize that if I were to do just a simple post a day, even if it wasn't card related, it would make for a much more interesting blog and I wouldn't have to only post when I had some cards to share, which lately hasn't been all to often.
So I will start with a reintroduction
Currently my life has been so busy in the past few years, and I have been through a lot physically, mentally, and emotionally, well really my whole family has.
on April 22, 2011 a tornado came through our town I think only a few houses were severely damaged, but a lot of tree's and power lines were down, and roofs were being fixed throughout several adjoining neighborhoods, it took a little over a year to get things cleaned out and rebuilt, during that same year in November I obtained my first Job as a Substitute teacher at a local daycare/preschool.
A year later in the summer of 2012 I had an accident breaking my ribs, that took so much out of me and nearly 3 years of healing, and still to this day it will haunt me occasionally especially during sickness, but through it all there was many blessings as well, and during that time is when I really let this blog go, and had little time for cardmaking except for Mom and I's yearly weekend getaway at a cropping event.
Just this year There seems to be a lot of sickness going around, even during the summer which is just plain weird! and no one can seem to shake it, it'll just come back in a different form.
On the plus side I have an additional job as a part time Nanny that I started just last week, it is definitely a challenge helping care for 3 boys under the age of 4 but I have so far really enjoyed it.
So there is your update! I'll be back tomorrow with some more to share and hopefully with pictures too!

Hi Hannah! I wondered where you have been and what you have been up to! Wow, you guys have endured a lot in recent years. It is so good to see you back on your blog, even if just here and there. Best wishes to you and your family (I remember your mom Jenny from the Hero Arts Flickr group years ago -- I hope she is doing well, too!). Take good care!
Hi Judy! Yes we have been through a lot plus some, I didn't want to list them all because then I would sound like a complainer :) We are doing well for the most part but lots of work to do, really the only time Mom and I can make cards and relax at the same time is when we go to our annual crop weekend, on which she might get back on for a bit.
I haven't had the time for Flickr yet but if anyone is asking just direct them to this post and hopefully I'll be back in the community soon.
