Busy Busy Busy!

...Yet having so much fun.
As the holiday season is creeping up behind our backs. I still can't believe it's only 6 days till Thanksgiving and then comes Christmas only a short 29 days later! How can this be? just a few years ago you would have caught me saying the holidays would never come and the year went by to slowly, but that is most definatly not the case now, No Way! I mean I haven't even started card making, and I still have to make ornaments to mail world wide(namely, Australia, Greece, Canada, the Phillipines, Denmark, and several states in the US) before December is out and 2010 is here. I'm scaring myself as I type all this out, I have so much to do! But I can relax tomorrow Thank goodness, we will be at my Aunts house with the rest of the family having our Thanksgiving party, where I am free to just fall over myself in delicious food and laugh and play with my cousins(yes I still play) we usually play tag, or laser tag, but if being outside is not an option we content ourselfs playing games. And my big brother will be home all week!
And next week I'll be helping my Grandma clean her house for our Christmas party and a Baby shower, I don't know why or what it is that makes it more fun to clean someone elses house compared to my room, its all one and the same. yet for some reson I just don't like cleaning at home. Oh well I must stop here for now but hopefully I'll be back soon with details of tomorrows party.
Until then(or later more likely) Have a Great Day.

Looky What I Got!

Yesterday I celebrated my 18th birthday, with my Mom, Dad, Big Brother, little Sister, little Brother and my Grandparents, we went out to eat at my favorite restraunt Kobes, a Japenese restraunt where the chef cooks at your table and entertains you with, juggling food, hillarious jokes and tricks. My little brother Caleb had a blast when the chef tossed food in our mouths (which they always do with leftover shrimp)and when his turn came to catch it he closed his eyes so tight and opened so wide, of course he didn't catch one but the chef had my mother drop one in his mouth when he closed his eyes. we had the waiters the chef, and the people at the other tables laughing soooo hard. Anyway when we got home I opened my presents and this is what I got

And the next Picture is what I bought myself with Birthday Money

I Bought; A Hero Arts Cling stamp CG120, Hero Arts clear gems, peeles paint distress ink by Tim Holtz, 10 pieces of paper in 4 colors, and lastly the Strechy SnowMan by Stampendous (strechy meaning you can make him tall and skiny, or fat and even melting)

Thanks for stopping by, Have a Great Week!

Amazing things

The Title of my Blog has not yet seemed to live up to its name, but now I think it's time to change that. Since Febuary when I started this blog, I have seen plenty of Fascinating things, from watching my little siblings grow up fast to the magnificent mountions of the rockies. But for now I will stick with the present, otherwise I could go on forever.

For one "fascinating" thing I have never met a more helpful, kind, and giving online group, of Ladies surrounding the entire globe. These wonderful ladies can be found on flickr in the Hero Art's Group.
If you were to ask a question, these ladies always have a helpful answer, if you are down, they will cheer you up, and even go as far as send you stuff to keep, or try out to see if you like it.

Another thing I find "fascinating" is looking "behind" the machinery of things. Ever since I can remember I was always amazed to see how things were built and worked.
Like what the inside of a piano looks like and how all the keys make sounds by hitting certain parts inside the piano.
How a car can drive just by pumping gas that flows throughout pipes under the car.......

And the latest; how a digital camera work's(this being the whole point of this post) Now this is is how I have always seen my camera,

but I have never been able to see HOW or what makes it work, until recently when my Camera Broke, in hopes to possibly fix it I unscrewed the silver cover to see this!
isn't that Awesome! Now I wish I knew how all these tiny parts screwed and welded together could make such high quality pictures that can be download from a computer.

Here is a pic of the cam and it's cover seperated, just so you can see.

I was pretty upset at first that it was no longer operable, but this little guy is still going to stay in my room to decorate it, and to remind me to be more careful with my new Cam. Of which I have been the proud owner for 2 days now, it is the same as the camera above but a better and smaller version.

Thank's For Stopping By

Hi Hannah!
Here is my Card for the October Card Chain! I tried using Deborah's color scheme but COULD NOT get it to look right. I decided to do my own take on her sketch instead.
I hope you can use this flowerstamp. I somehow ended up with two of them!
